Timperley Sports Club is a busy multi-sports community based club in Altrincham with a membership of over 900 spread across its four sports of Cricket, Hockey, Lacrosse and Junior Football. The club is used extensively by the local community for a range of events and activities.
Due to its continued growth, we now wish to appoint an ‘Assistant Bar and Facilities Manager’ who, as part of a team, will positively contribute to the management of the clubhouse facilities, of which the bar is a primary function. We operate 7 days a week and throughout the year.
We are looking for a flexible and self-motivated individual with relevant experience in a licenced premises environment but who is now looking to extend their career into a broader facility management environment. Ideal for a team player who is looking to be a part of a small team contributing to an active and ambitious local community focused Club.
The ability to lead a small team of part time sessional staff will be important as is an adaptable and enthusiastic approach to dealing with situations as they arise. Good communication and people skills to deal with a wide range of members and customers including external functions and events.
You will have a sound appreciation of issues concerning health and safety at work and on occasion will be required to assume responsibility for the safe management of the whole site and dealing with members of the public.
You will be expected to work flexibly involving evening and weekend duties as sports fixtures, bar opening and events require.
