In our survey earlier in the year communications and engagement were identified as an area for improvement and the Board's setting up a new group to focus on this important areas. To kick us off we've produced a new look newsletter - download a copy. We will producing monthly editions as a starting point, we know engagement is more than newsletters and and working on improvement over the next 12 months.

On behalf of all members, sections and the Board we wish give a huge thanks to Kirk Malone, who has resigned as a Director of TSC Ltd last week recognise his contribution to TSC during his time as Chair. Kirk was elected in 2022 and elected Chair of the Board shortly after. As well as his Board role, Kirk's was also instrumental in the Devisdale Pitch Project and gaining Football Foundation grants to part fund the 6 year grass maintenance project that commenced in September. Kirk will still be around the Club living his other great Timperley passion coaching girls football, watching United and enjoying the odd pint of Guinness!

The Rules of the Club set out that the Board elects its Chair from the Directors (Board). Bob Page has been elected to be the Chair of the Board and you can find out more about Bob in this months newsletter.

This months edition includes updates on:

• projects completed over the Summer months to improve our facilities and playing surfaces
• Board update including five key themes / priorities for the next 12 months
• club news, thank to our Blue Pitch Donors and whats on including the TSC Christmas Party on 21st December
• a new section on getting to know the Board and details of opportunities to get involved to help run the club and continue to improve things
• Survey and Social Value snapshot
• Staff team update and current vacancies

We'll be including spotlights on sections and our community activity as well as the running the club stuff and in not too many months running sessions to update about the plans to complete Project 18 including improvements to the clubhouse and bar.
